Getting Involved in Ogden & Northern Utah

Ogden lies just north of Salt Lake City, housing a population of around 80,000 people. With a brilliant view of the mountains to the east, and the Great Salt Lake towards the west, you will love the views and activities available.

Temperature

  • In summer, Ogden can be very hot, with the hottest part of summer being July, where the average temperature is often around or above 90F (32C).
  • In the winter months, December through February, the temperature can hover around 20F(-6C), with regular snow storms.
  • Ogden has a high elevation, so the UV can be very intense. Remember to use sunscreen!

Cultural Activities

  • lies in the heart of Ogden. It houses shops, restaurants, cafes and much more. During the summer, the farmer’s market is available each Saturday morning. Getting to 25th Street is easy. Just take the OGX, which runs straight through the Weber State campus, and hop back on to return.
