Welcome to the 30th Annual Weber Storytelling Festival! We are delighted this year to feature five nationally featured tellers (Adam Booth, Valentia Ortiz, Kim Weitkamp, & Antonio Rocha, and our own festival fellow, Sam Payne), 12 professional tellers from the intermountain west, and over 80 youth tellers. Watch our event calendar for additional events sponsored by the Weber Storytelling Festival and our partners throughout the year.

Our 30th anniversary coincides with the long-awaited re-opening of the David O. McKay Education Building and the newly formed Jerry and Vickie Moyes School of Education. The Moyes School of Education, in addition to offering an array of excellent professional degrees and programs, continues to  the Weber Storytelling Festival with support and direction from the Boyd K. and Donna S. Packer Center for Family and Community Education and in collaboration with wonderful community members and groups. 

In addition to the main festival this year and to celebrate our 30th festival, we will be expanding our storytelling programming throughout the year in local schools, libraries, communities, and on the campuses of 91¶ÌÊÓƵ. If you would like to host a professional storyteller or have ideas for additional events, please let us know. As always, all events (other than our fundraising dinner) are offered completely free to the public through generous donations from our sponsors and collaborations with our partners.
