Weber has resources to help you figure out how to pay for school, how to get through school, and how to budget and plan for your future! All resources on campus are available to all students with a valid Wildcard.*

Basic Needs Center

Offers child care, pantry and financial literacy to help students with basic needs and remove barriers so they can focus on their education. The center has a lounge space for studying, a kitchen, lockers and computers.

Experiencing a Delay in Registering for Classes Due to Financial Constraints?

 

→Payment Resources

Smart Start Repayment 

For students that are experiencing a short-term or unexpected financial hardship. This program allows you to register for their next semester while still paying a prior semester balance.

Payment Plans 

Instead of paying in one large lump sum, monthly payments are spread out equally; making payments more affordable.

 

→Petition Process 

If you have experienced any of these circumstances, these two options for petition are available: 

  • Death of a close relative
  • Injury or illness of the student
  • Injury or illness of the student’s dependent or spouse
  • Other circumstances outside the student’s control (e.g. jury duty, official military duty, etc.)

Financial Aid & Scholarships Petition Process 

Students who fail to meet SAP standards may petition for an exception from SAP requirements due to extenuating circumstances

Student Financial Petition Process 

Students who had extenuating circumstances leading them to withdraw from courses can seek a waiver, reduction, or refund of that semester’s tuition.

 

*Concurrent Enrollment students and students enrolled in self-support-only classes may not be able to access all of these student services because they do not pay student fees.
