“My experience in Weber State’s MHA program was truly exceptional. The faculty not only taught me valuable concepts but also supported my personal and professional growth throughout the program. I am especially grateful for the insightful advice I received from both faculty members and guest speakers over the two years I was in the program. The most impactful lessons I took away are: “I can do hard things” and “Never pass up an opportunity.” These words have guided my career advancement and opened doors I never imagined possible. One of the greatest strengths of Weber State’s MHA program is its flexibility. I was able to work full-time during the day, attend classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and fulfill my responsibilities as a mother. While it required careful prioritization and showing my children the importance of education, the experience was absolutely worthwhile.

Another notable strength of Weber State's MHA program is its cost-effectiveness, which made it an outstanding investment in my future. Additionally, the convenient location of classes made commuting after work manageable and allowed for productive collaboration with classmates. I am proud to have selected Weber State over other programs I considered. I also had the opportunity to participate in two poster sessions presenting my capstone project, one of which was at the Utah Public Health Association Conference in April 2025, thanks to Dr. Moss’s ongoing mentorship and support.
