Adding Students to Classes After the Add Deadline

The add deadline is the last day a student can register online for classes without instructor approval. The add deadline is always the first Friday of the first week of the semester.

Instructors can add students to classes after the add deadline by using registration overrides, which allow students access to register for classes when they encounter a registration restriction.

There are nearly a dozen types of overrides that can be issued. Instructions for how to enter registration overrides, as well as all types of overrides, are on the Registration Overrides webpage.
